This was taken on my last day in Copenhagen (amazing city, visit if you can). As is my – some say, annoying – way, I was still wandering around with my camera, like I didn’t have a suitcase to pack and a flight to catch. I didn’t want to leave. I’d been in the city for three days, walking on average, seven hours a day with no clue where I was going and no plans, other than to capture as much of the city that I could on camera.
Somehow, I managed to find my way back to my hotel every evening, although I’m still not sure how.
I took this picture by a park, a few minutes away from Kastellet, the best preserved fortress in Europe.
I intend to go back to Copenhagen soon. Only this time, I’ll make sure I build in a rail visit to Stockholm (probably one of my most favourite cities in Europe) and to Norway, to see the Northern Lights.
Still, as far as photos go, this is not bad. I think it’s soothing, tranquil, even. What do you think?
