Hi, I’m Abidemi Sanusi. Former human rights worker. Now: Author. Slayer. Superstar. Featured in the Guardian, Reuters, Independent on Sunday, and the BBC (for reals!).
Nominated for the prestigious Commonwealth Writers’ Prize (dahling!). Average Amazon book review: 4.5 out of 5 stars. I’m bald and I wear glasses (that’s how I slay). I survived working for: Number 10/Cabinet Office, human rights work… Sometimes, I cook.
I’ve had what some call a deranged career, ranging from being a human rights worker, to running my own content agency, specialising in the FinTech (financial and technology), and legal sectors. In between, I’ve also managed stints at the UN and the UK Cabinet Office, and written for the UK Guardian newspaper and The Author, amongst other publications.
Publishing pedigree (just in case you were wondering…)
I’ve written books across all genres; from inspirational (writing as Levi Read), to general fiction, to ghostwriting and business writing, with some foreign language translations of my books, thrown in between.
I’ve also been nominated for the prestigious Commonwealth Writers’ Prize (dahling!).
I didn’t win, but neither did the Booker Prize and Nobel Prize winners I was competing against, so it’s all good with the universe 😉
